They demonstrate a generous listening, not just hearing; are masterful in their use of language and drawing of distinctions, in developing employees, and producing extraordinary results. A coach is able to see beyond complaints and unproductive behavior and speak to the values and needs of all. The shifts that managers make to coaching are: From Expert to Partner Sources vs. Symptoms Developing vs. Managing The Four Keys to Coaching. The coaching model we use is simple.:
Although the awareness of the four keys is essential, practicing the keys is paramount to developing an effective coach. Participants will begin to practice coaching within the first hour of the course. This is delivered in a half-day or full day format. The Leaders of The Four Keys to Coaching are individuals who have completed a two-three year coach’s training school, are certified by the International Coach Federation, and been full time professional coaches for at least five years.
