The 5 Step Model

The 5-step model is used by business owners to work on their business, not just in it.

Step 1- Getting Clear.

Having a clear, strong Primary Aim and Strategic Objective is the context that motivates and supports you as you move out of your comfort zone into a new set of skills. Doing the technical work is not enough; a business owner also needs to manage and delegate.

Step 2- Create a model so that the business can eventually run without you.

Step 3- Create a Management and Accountability System and the system will become your strategy.

Step 4- Understand who your customer is and sell the business, not the product. Develop a marketing strategy.

Step 5-Develop your People strategy. People want to work for other people who have a clearly defined structure. There is nothing more exciting than a well-conceived game, delivered through documented systems and a positive manner.
